It seems that I’ve been around for some time. So long in fact, that TIME is perceptual to me now in new ways. There are moments when TIME manifests itself in such a manner, that I feel as if I could just reach out and snatch a handful.
Twelve stories from TIME.
I’ve taken my lifelong love and knowledge of music to curate, and then sequence music albums to effect (YouTube calls them “playlist”. And their not “Mix’s-different game, RE. “Heavy-metal Breakfast”). And from this point on as you scroll through each image will have a music album embedded in them(Just click on the button just below the text to hear the Music). When you do, you will hear much more of the dramatist here than the DJ (But don’t panic, the Kid still has some skills.) I assemble them with one purpose in mind. That is that the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts and that the Listener shares this sense of convenience, and soon realizes that this journey has a conclusion. I labor to make sure that they stay thoughtful and heartfelt throughout (In the midst of my search for significance, music is the language of my soul). So that each one has its own character, and its own story to tell. With a beginning, a middle, and an ending. It’s always best to imitate what you know, so the 12 track, 2 sided long-playing record LP is my inspiration. And their brevity strains out the banal (Keep-it Sweet, Keep-it Short). The accompanying artwork is of my own device (Music + Artwork=Album. And these were made to be stared at). All the color images here come from three rolls of film, the first is from 1982, the other two are from 38 years later, 2019. All B&W comes from the archives. (To see more of my work click on “Images” at the top of the page, including new work) Before you proceed when the YouTube app opens on your device you will see the title for the playlist. Just below is Yilaugh, and below that, you will see two parallel arrows pointing in opposite directions, CLICK ON IT. That puts the album in repeat mode (and then play the way I designed it to. Plus it saves us both a lot of trouble) And it’s all calculated for your listening and viewing pleasure. So then my friend if you will, just take the TIME…terry
